Recently I was asked by Mediflow pillow to review one of their pillows. I was actually very excited to get this offer. I love sleep……..love love love sleep and in our household we really make it a priority. Lack of sufficient sleep is a significant health issue, and not one that people talk about. Insufficient sleep has been linked to everything from heart disease and diabetes to obesity, depression to ADHD and more. Too many of us don’t get enough sleep. I knew that I didn’t really love my pillow, and was certainly interested in trying a new one. But, to be honest, I didn’t think there was much difference. After all, over the years we’ve purchased the $10 pillows and the $50 pillows and one never seemed to be significantly better than an
other. But the Mediflowwas interesting to me.
and highly recommend it. It isn’t the easiest reading material but it is educational and a story that is much less known than Uncle Tom’s Cabin. The story is based on the case “Prigg vs. Pennsylvania” and occurred quite a few years before the Civil War. However it played a large role in the bitter fight over state’s rights, which eventually led to the Civil War.
