We are such slackers. We had most of our tax stuff ready to go about a month ago but just never got around to finalizing the paperwork to send to our accountant. Today is THE day. Yet again I wish I was brave enough to do my own taxes but I’m not. Someday when I don’t work “for myself” cleaning houses I will be brave enough. It would be so much cheaper.
So, if you do do your own taxes, make it easy on yourself AND save some money! PLUS, don’t wait until April 16th and deal with the pressure of having to rush. Use H & R Block’s free online program to file your Federal taxes for FREE. Then decide if you want to file State taxes through them for a small fee (really, it is small compared to a CPA) or paper file the state ones.
Best of all, there is no gimmick. You don’t enter you credit card information until you are satisfied and ready to submit them. I even tried it out to make sure.

Woo hoo! Early bird catches the worm, good thing I’m up! I just saw that this deal was going live at 5 am EST, so we should be able to get it. Head over to SneakPeeq and get yours. I’m going to try it right now, so will update this post if it’s quirky or something.
ETA: Ok, I’m back and got mine ordered. It was a few clicks, but overall very easy. First I clicked to join SneakPeeq. Then I clicked to log in. Then a button popped up about a free badge or something to get a scarf, I tried to click that but kept getting an error message. So I X’d out of that box.
