I can’t believe I forgot to put this up yesterday. So busy, so crazy crazy busy!
Anyway, here it is, good luck and I hope you’re able to have 10 minutes to yourself to come back and enter some giveaways. I know I hope to. Heather, who writes on here, has been having such a winning streak lately with blog giveaways–maybe some of her luck will rub off on us.
Here comes the weekend! Whew! I don’t know if I should be relieved because I had a crazy week, or panicked because we are getting so close to Christmas and I’m not ready!
I’ve seen lots of fun giveaways floating around the internet lately, a nice prize would certainly make me happy!
Right after we got back from vacation in September, my 3-year-old was bugging me to sign him up for soccer because his cousin plays soccer. I couldn’t find an open soccer to sign him up, so I signed him up for basketball instead. He loves it! Since he and his team mates are all 3 years old, it’s quite comical. But I have noticed that he needs a bit of work on his hand/eye coordination and other skills, so I’m going to keep him enrolled in things. I’m terribly unathletic–when I was in elementary school I was in the gifted program and adaptive gym, which is pretty much the same as a social death sentence. I want to foster his interest in sports young so that hopefully he won’t need adaptive gym, gah.
Anyway, that’s just the back story as to why I am excited to be participating in this promotion–there’s a LOT of basketball talk in our house these days. This was very timely for us, because maybe if he watches some basketball on tv or sees the movie, he’ll be more motivated to play basketball instead of twirling in circles while his team plays. Yes, that’s what he does during the games. Guess that’s what happens when you’re 3.
This looks like a cute story and a cute stocking stuffer for your little athlete.
NBA superstar Kevin Durant plays himself in this action-packed family film about a basketball star who switches talent with a klutzy 16-year-old fan. When Brian (Taylor Gray) magically switches basketball skills with his hero, Kevin Durant, he becomes the star of his high school team… while Kevin Durant suddenly can’t make a shot to save his life! But with the playoffs approaching, Brian learns that being a true winner means working hard at your own game, and he tries to make things right in time to prevent a catastrophic end to his hero’s season.
