No coupons? No problem! week of Oct 30

Here is this week’s round up of cheap stuff & freebie deals, that don’t require coupons. If you do clip coupons, you can make these deals even better.

I think the Genuardi’s 2-day sale has some good deals.

Amazon has a hot deal on Tide right now.

Paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels, found on clearance at half off.

CVS-Nexxus products are $10 back in ECBs when you spend $20–good chance to get salon items at half off. I would then take the ECB and scan your card to get your $5 off $20 facial skin care coupon, use it on the Olay items on promo. Page 9 of ad.

Walgreens-page 11 of ad has a good deal on Crest/Oral B products, makes them $1 each. Then roll that RR into one of the other Register Reward deals, like some of the hair care deals.

Looking for a deal on the Cars 2 DVD that comes out Tuesday?

And couponers, I posted lots of great Acme deals, Genuardi’s, Saving Star and some great printables at the end of last week. There are also very useful tabs at the top of this blog and on the Facebook page, full of printables and e-savings to load on to your cards. Take a look!

No coupons? No problem! week of Oct 23

Sorry I’m a bit late with this feature this week. This is my weekly rundown of hot deals that don’t require coupons, for all you non-couponers out there. For those of you that do clip & use coupons, you can use them to make these hot deals even hotter.

Acme: Kraft Macaroni & Cheese (the regular boxes) and Chef Boyardee pastas are $0.88. I can’t even remember the last time I saw a coupon for Kraft Mac & Cheese, and it rarely goes under a $1 per box anymore. Both of these items are stock up items at that price–I doubt we’ll see them at a lower price any time soon.

CVS: Today is last day to get the FREE after ECB items–the candy corn and the pumpkin carving tools. I hope they have some left when I get there. Page 3 of flyer for more details.

Walgreens: Front page of ad (find ad in store) has a store coupon for candy for $1.99. I haven’t seen any Halloween candy priced lower than that. Well, ShopRite last week, but that deal is over. If you need candy and don’t have any coupons–this is going to be your best bet.

Giant: back page of ad–items are spend $15, get $4 instant savings. I like instant savings–you don’t have to worry about rolling catalinas and all that. More importantly–this deal includes peanut butter, which is going to rise dramatically in prices soon.

Diapers & wipes, week of Oct 21/23

Lots of diaper deals this week, so going to start this post now and update when I get more ads on Saturday morning.

Coupons: Huggies, no insert coupons right now-coming this Sunday. Pampers-last week and 10/2. Other coupons available may be blinkies, home mailers and other options.

Wipes: Aim for $0.01 or less per wipe. $0.02 is ok, I won’t pay $0.03 unless I absolutely have to.

Diapers: Aim for $0.10 or $0.15 per diaper or less. $0.15-$0.20 is not bad, over $0.20 only if you absolutely have to.

CVS: Starts 10/23

Reminder of the Buy 6 jumbo packs, get 7th free. Your tally will be on your receipts.

CVS brand diapers-Jumbo packs are $6.99 with $2 back in ECBs.

“Sign up today for our Baby Club and save 10% on baby items.” I have no idea what this means and I keep seeing it but forget to check it out. And I was just there today, darnit! Will try to remember for next time.

Target: Starts 10/23

“Selected Pampers economy-pack diapers”-$38, Training pants-$19.79, Johnson & Johnson items-$3, use $1 printable.

Acme: Starts 10/21

“Save $10 on your next baby product purchase when you buy $30 in participating baby products in a single transaction using your Acme card. Ends 10/27/11.” Says 1 per transaction and that it is calculated AFTER manufacturer’s coupons. Try at own risk–we know it’s not on shelf prices anymore, it’s on sale prices. But no confirmation on coupons before/after.

Items-Huggies jumbo packs $9.99, Huggies wipes $6.29, Baby Basics jumbo packs $6.99- and several Gerber food items & baby basics formula.

My Amazon pick would be these Luvs. Choose subscribe & save to get another 15% off, then they come to about $0.17 each-delivered!
