Kmart-catalina deal that runs until April 11

I saw this catalina deal posted some place, but didn’t get around to looking into it. Then, another super couponer Amanda posted that if you just purchase the Purex crystals as part of this deal, they are only $0.75 each. That reminded me to pursue this further and look into some matchups.

First, here’s the catalina offer-$10 off your next order (oyno) when you buy (wyb) $30.00 or $5 OYNO wyb $20.00. And below I have the products that are included in the deal. What’s good about Kmart catalina deals is that when they offer one, it’s usually every size and variety of that item. Not just a specific size or item like all the other stores do. For instance, when they do Procter & Gamble catalina deals, it usually includes every single P&G item in the store, which is nice. The downside is that unlike the grocers around here, it will work on sale prices, not shelf. And it appears that this catalina will work instantly and you can go back in & roll it on something else. Lately I’ve been getting the ones that require another trip the following week. At almost $4 a gallon for gas, I’m not up for that anymore.

In any event, here we go, let’s take a look:

Update on Acme-other deals found

The Fresh Express Salad is $1 this week at Acme. I got $0.50 off Fresh Express on my e-savings. And another couponer reported that she got $0.75 off Fresh Express on her e-savings. $0.25-$0.50 per bag is a great price. Wish it kept longer, not really  a stockpile item.

Also, couponers on hcw are reporting finding $1 off 2 peelies on the Propel. That will make it free if you buy ten bottles and combine the instant savings deal.

Any Sunday must-do deals? YES!

Sorry I didn’t get to my “Saturday errand picks this morning,” I know that they are frequently some of my more popular posts. I was just too frazzled trying to get to the coupon swap at 8 and then the Blogger Expo at 10.

For new readers-what makes a must-do deal for me on a Sunday? Well, either it’s a freebie or moneymaker deal that is going to be really hot, and I expect the stores to run out of merchandise. Or, it’s a deal that although totally legit, is just a little too-good-to-be-true and I’m afraid the stores will pull it.

Tomorrow, I think the only must-do deal would be the Allegra at CVS. It’s $6.99 with $6.99 back in Extra Care Bucks. If you have the $2 printable coupon from Smartsource, you have a chance to increase your Extra Care Bucks by $2. I decreased my Extra Bucks last week by $13, so I am definitely on the hunt for ways to increase them. If the printable is no longer working, check your 3/7 inserts. But, I still don’t think that I’ll get up early and try to get this, although I would expect stores to run out of it. Hopefully not.

Another hot deal will be the Almay deal at Walgreen’s. First, there was a $2 coupon in the 3/6 inserts. Next, there’s a $2 Walgreen’s Store Coupon in the Spring Beauty Guide booklet. I haven’t seen these, check in & around the beauty registers. I only looked for them at the Penn Green Road/Avondale store. A store coupon can be stacked with a mfr coupon. And….Almay is 30% off and each Almay product will generate $5 in Register Rewards!

Remember, Walgreen’s Register Rewards deals WILL NOT STACK. If you get three products in one purchase, you will only get ONE $5 RR. You must buy them separately. And they WILL NOT roll! You cannot use a $5 RR to pay for the next Almay item–your $5 RR WILL NOT print if you do.

Nevertheless, this is a must do deal for me. I have several of those coupons, and with the sale, even if I can’t find the Walgreen’s coupon, I see it as an opportunity to spend much less than $5 to get one Almay item + a $5 RR. And, you all know what I’ll use that for……….diapers!

Another reason I like to wait and not necessarily run out on a Sunday-I like to check hotcouponworld and some of the other blogs, and get the word from the street. Which deals are not working, which deals have better limits than what was published, secret hidden deals, clearance finds, stuff like that. I let others go out on Sundays and hit the pharmacies. Then I look for what else I may want to do and it saves me another trip. But the weather is nicer, the days are longer, it’s not so cold………..I am going to hit the stores tomorrow morning. Look for me! And I hope that the Landenberg store has fixed their magic card scanner/coupon printer-it’s been broken all week!
