*very cheap* Cottonelle at Walgreens; Sunday only-must do!

Toilet paper at about $0.12/roll qualifies as a must do deal for me. This one has been all over the web, so it will be interesting to me to see if the stores have the stock on hand.

Here’s how it will work:

With so many other good Walgreens deals this week, you won’t run out of options of what to do with the $3.50 RR.

Staples Printable

HERE is a link to a Staples printable, for either $5/$25 or $10/$50. I would assume that you could combine it with the backpack deal, but I don’t think you’ll get Staples Rewards for the full amount–it will probably be prorated for the actual amount you paid. Still, and good coupon to use if you need stuff.

Dollar General, new coupon policy

I really don’t want to blame all these changes on one tv show……..I find it hard to believe that one cable TV show wields that much power over America’s retailers. But then again, when you broadcast a show that spells out exactly how to misuse coupons, maybe it is why.

Dollar General is the newest store on the list to tighten the reins. Read the new policy here.

Some of the highlights, or should I call them lowlights?

No more overage. Well that sucks.

No more coupons for “free” items, regardless of source. This means, that even if they carry the $1 packs of Carefree/Stayfree and you have the coupon that says “free” on it, published by the manufacturer……..it’s a no-go. I also bet that if we find $1 items and match them with valid $1 coupons, they’ll be turned down.

If they don’t scan, or if the cashier can’t get a code to enter in the register, you’re SOL.

Well, you can read the rest. This will mean fewer trips to DG for me, for sure.

I really, really am beginning to loathe that TV show. I have yet to see one thing positive come out of it, except ratings for a network.

FREE business cards at Staples

Through Saturday only. Staples is really starting their freebies and back to school offers early, I like it! Usually we don’t start seeing stuff like this until July and August.
