Struck out at CVS!

I went to the coupon scanner and all I got was a $1 off M&Ms coupon. Phooey. No $10 Physician’s Formula, no Dove chocolate coupon. And, the Pepsi products were completely wiped out. There was no way to get $20 worth of anything that interested me. So, I’ll go back later in the week.

The Physician’s Formula deal is unadvertised. It’s $7 off with your card. So use it with the $10 coupon if you get it, and get very cheap items. This is not an Extra Buck deal.

be on lookout for Target toy & baby clearance

I can’t even believe I’m thinking about purchasing toys! My boys got so much for Christmas. But I do have kids to buy birthday presents for, so might as well try to get them for 50-75% off. And in past years, I know I’ve gotten great baby deals this time of year.

Right now Target shopping moms across the country are reporting in that they are finding toys at 30-50% off. Target usually marks things down on Thursdays or Fridays, so if you’re there, keep checking!

How many times have you heard the phrase, “well, in this economy…”? But it’s true! In this economy, it is harder and harder to find toys at the 75% off price, people are snatching them up at 30% and 50%. So you have to judge for yourself if you want to wait it out and try to get it at 75% off.

Good luck & I’ll post if I find anything, but I don’t have any plans to visit Target soon.

two more coupons to look for at CVS

If you go to CVS this week, there are two more coupons to look for. One is from the coupon card scanner. You may get  a $10 off Physician’s Formula makeup, which is great to have with this week’s Extra Care Buck deal. It should mean free or very cheap makeup depending on what you purchase.

Another is to go over and look around the photo area, there are coupons for a free collage print.  I found mine at the Landenberg store on the corner of 41 & Newark Road.

Malt O Meal cereal

Recently there were $1 off 1 and $2 off 2 coupons for Malt O Meal cereal. Quite often Walmart will have this brand of cereal for $1, so free.

The other day in Acme I noticed, while looking at the hot cereal section, that Malt O Meal does have a line of hot, instant oatmeals on the market. There’s only five pouches in a box, as compared to other brands, but it was only $1. I have not tried to purchase this with the coupons either, so not positive it will work, but worth a try if you prefer this over cold cereal.
