I need a Blu Ray player. I actually need a dvd player. Ours broke about 6 months ago and we need to replace it. I have been holding out for Black Friday in hopes of a “to die for” deal. I feel like all I have found is confusion. I consider myself to be technologically intelligent. Well, I use to – before looking at flat screen tvs and blu ray players. We want to get a blu ray player that also plays dvds. I am not going to even attempt to wow you with words like “upscaling dvds”. I barely know what the heck I am talking about!!
Instead I will take you on my “best deal” hunt. May as well share the information, right? I can at least give you prices. Sorry I can’t translate the tech language well.
Sometimes the easiest place to shop is online, so Amazon, here I come. (Ok, it totally helps that with the help of surveys and Swagbucks I have $60 in my Amazon account.) Stay tuned though. You never know if Amazon will give us a blu-ray player as a Gold Deal. That’s my bet. We will be sure to share it with you.

Wow, these seem to have really come down in price. I think we paid almost $200 back in January. I love it b/c we can stream Netflix direct to the TV. That’s all we have now, since we cancelled cable.
