What I'm getting at CVS this week-week of Nov 27

I’m feeling energized again about going to CVS. For about 4 or 5 years, I went every single week, sometimes more than once a week. I juggled two CVS cards, got all my freebies. Then for the past 6-12 months, I guess I had CVS burnout. I rarely went, and quite frankly, when you go every week for 4 years, you build up quite a stockpile so I didn’t really need to go.

Thursday energized me again. First, it was fun getting all the stuff I got, for just $9 out of pocket. Second, one of my couponing friends was like “Really, you don’t come here anymore? I still come every week.” So now I’m motivated to go again. Plus, this week my son starts his home/community TSS hours, so this will be a nice weekly outing for us to do. It’s close to home and still gives him practice in public places.

So……here’s what I am eyeing up from this week’s ad, and what I want to get. I only have $14 ECBs to work with so not sure what all I’ll get.

First, if you need contact lens solution, check out the Complete for $8.99 with $8.99 back. If you find some with $1 or $2 peelies–good for you! I hope I do, but since I don’t wear contacts, won’t be getting it unless I find the peelies.

Pg 6 of ad-Xtra Laundry detergent for $1.49. $1 off 2 coupons in 11/13 paper, makes is $0.99 a bottle! For that price, even though I don’t care for it, I’ll use it to wash dog beds and car towels.

Burt’s Bees stuff–on sale, says “starting at $2.99.” Get a $2 printable on Facebook. I think it’s wishful thinking that we’ll find an eligible item for $2.99, but can’t hurt to look.

When you scan your card under the magic card scanner, you’re going to get a $3 off $10 Hand or Body Lotion coupon. Combine that with the $1 off 1s for Carmex, from 10/30 inserts. It’s on sale for $4.99.

Front page–the $10/$30 gift card offer still going strong. And I’ve been buying a ton of stuff at Barnes & Noble since it’s 50% off, so I could use a $10 gift card. I may do the Tide at $5.94, with the $2 coupons from 10/30. Plus I still have some FREE Pantene coupons from home mailers, from those Facebook offers they ran.

Lastly, the $5/$15 Duracell offer. I got $3 off 2 Duracell coupons in my Thursday (Thanksgiving) paper, so check yours. Always need batteries this time of year!

Happy Shopping!

  1. If you need batteries, Staples had Duracell AA and AAA on an offer that gave 100% back in Staples rewards. I got them today, but I do not know how long the deal lasts.
